What is Online Learning?

Online learning is an umbrella term used for learning with the help of using digital platforms. It is also called E-learning, where "E" stands for Electronic. There is a virtual classroom setting on a dedicated learning platform where there is an instructor present who gives online lectures and assigns works digitally to the students. The instructor will guide the students if they have any kind of doubt and trouble. This mode of online education is more useful, affordable, and interactive than the traditional form of education.

What are the advantages of Online Education?

1. This mode of learning provides a lot of flexibility and saves a lot of time.

2. Saves money as there is no cost of commuting from one place to another.

3. It provides fantastic networking opportunities with peers, which they meet during their online session.

In India, does it possible?

India is getting digital, but still, many rural areas are not getting proper electricity, the internet is far away. In India, almost 7.6% of people are below the poverty line. How can they afford electronic devices such as mobile and tablets? How can they choose online education? Firstly those students able to go to government schools (such as ZP schools ), but in this pandemic, they are deprived of schools, so what about those? This is the biggest problem in India, because of this, we can't make online education a  primary way of learning like other countries did.

Solution-

We know schools will not start soon. So we made online education, the primary source of learning. But as I discussed, many students are away from these facilities.
Here I have my own suggestions about it -
What we can do (*here we means citizen, government)
* System can start schools in rural areas with strict measures and allow students to come and learn.
* Government can provide educational tablets, to those students who really need and they deserve.
*Make e-learning platform at government offices, gram Bhavan, gram Panchayat.
*Recruitment of some teachers who will go to small rural areas and give teaching resources such as books to the students.

So these were the points for devoid from online education.

What about the middle class and wealthy class students like us, who has every source for e-learning.

We should take full benefits from our facilities. We should take online classes seriously. As a student, I know, studying online is difficult, nothing goes in head, everything is a bouncer.

How to cope up with e-learning?

As we know, this is the first time we are studying online. It is challenging to study, nothing goes in the head.
So here are some views, which will help you in studying -

1) try to listen, what your teachers say.
2) try to understand
3) make points accordingly
4) after the classes, spend some time on self-revision.

Here, I gave my views about online education, I hope you liked it.
